Description

A delightful blend of crispy shrimp and toasted walnuts, all enveloped in a creamy honey sauce that balances sweetness and tanginess.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Coat the peeled and deveined shrimp with cornstarch and salt.
  2. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Fry the shrimp in batches until crispy and golden, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
  4. Remove cooked shrimp and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. Mix together mayonnaise, honey, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice in a bowl to create the sauce.
  6. Toss the fried shrimp with the sauce until well-coated.
  7. Top with toasted walnuts right before serving.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are dry before frying for optimal crispiness. You can use an air fryer for a healthier version.
