- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top the mixture with the frozen tater tots, aligning them snugly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead: Assemble the casserole and store it in the fridge unbaked for up to a day. Reheat in the oven when ready.
