Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into small cubes
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Whipped cream, for serving
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Scatter the diced fresh strawberries over the pie filling.
  4. Evenly distribute the cubes of cream cheese across the strawberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry white cake mix evenly over the top without stirring.
  6. Mix the melted butter with the vanilla extract and almond extract (if using), then drizzle evenly over the cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
  7. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the top if you prefer a sweeter, slightly crisp finish.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the strawberry filling is bubbling around the edges.
  9. Allow the dump cake to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream and garnish with fresh sliced strawberries.
