  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Roast the jalapeños: Place jalapeños on a baking sheet and broil them in the oven until charred on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Steam and peel: Transfer the jalapeños to a covered bowl for about 10 minutes. Peel off the skin, deseed (if desired), and finely chop.
  3. Whip the cream cheese: Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature. Whip it in a mixing bowl until it’s smooth and fluffy.
  4. Combine the ingredients: Add the chopped roasted jalapeños, shredded cheddar, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Chill for flavor fusion: Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
