Description

A comforting and satisfying dish of layered ravioli, rich meat sauce, and melted cheese that brings people together around the table.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz refrigerated ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning it lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce along with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Layer half of the ravioli in a baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and cheeses.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese turns golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble the dish a day in advance. Use air fryer at 350°F for a quicker option.
