- 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning

- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- For the Pizza Tacos
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 40–48 pepperoni slices
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Optional Toppings
- Fresh basil
- Chopped parsley
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Sliced black olives
- Diced bell peppers
- Sautéed mushrooms
- Banana peppers
- Extra pizza sauce
- Ranch dressing
- Garlic butter
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the flour tortillas.
- On a baking sheet, lay out the tortillas and fill each with the beef mixture, mozzarella, provolone, and pepperoni slices. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tortillas are golden brown.
