Description
A decadent Moist Chocolate Peanut Butter Poke Cake dripping with peanut butter and condensed milk goodness, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15–16 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Prepare the cake: Mix the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Pour your mixture into a 9×13 inch baking pan and bake until edges pull away and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake: Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before moving to the next step.
- Poke holes: Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
- Mix and drizzle: In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the cake, letting it seep into the holes.
- Chill: Allow the cake to cool completely and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve: Slice the cake into squares and top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
Notes
For ultra-moist cake, do not overbake. You can prepare the cake a day in advance.
