Description

A flavorful sandwich exploding with seasoned ground beef, melting cheese, and zesty jalapeños, served on a toasted hoagie roll.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or chopped steak
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 4 slices cheese (American, cheddar, or Pepper Jack)
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded

  3. Mix in the sliced jalapeños, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Melt the cheese by layering it atop the meat mixture and covering the skillet.
  5. Toast the hoagie rolls in a toaster or on a griddle.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by filling each toasted roll with the beef and cheese mixture.
  7. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and a dollop of mayonnaise or spicy sauce.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Make-ahead: You can prepare the beef mixture in advance. Ensure fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
