- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet.
- Season chicken breasts with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and pour salsa over it.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
