Description

A tantalizing dish of succulent chicken breasts bathed in zesty salsa, enveloped in a creamy layer of bubbling cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet.
  3. Season chicken breasts with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and pour salsa over it.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes
