- 1 package phyllo dough
- 2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup frozen)
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, then add the spinach and cook until it wilts.
- Remove the pan from heat and mix in the crumbled feta, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Layer several sheets of phyllo dough on a baking sheet, brushing each sheet with olive oil.
- Place spoonfuls of the filling on the layered phyllo.
- Fold the phyllo over the filling and brush the tops with more olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
Notes
For a make-ahead option, assemble the crisps a day in advance and bake just before serving. Customize with additional ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes or herbs.
