Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef alongside paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layering.
  5. Pour the beef broth over the layers and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Customize with additional veggies like bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition and flavor. This dish can also be made in an air fryer for a quicker option.
