- 1 package of King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for drizzling)
- 1–2 tbsp milk (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg together until smooth.
- Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves back on.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and milk to create a drizzle.
- Drizzle over the Danish while still warm.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for best results. For a unique flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the filling.
