Description
A vibrant and comforting stir fry featuring lean ground turkey and fresh broccoli, seasoned with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant—around 30 seconds.
- Next, add the ground turkey to the skillet. Season generously with salt and pepper, breaking it apart with your spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and drizzle the soy sauce over everything. Stir well to coat all ingredients.
- Allow to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still vibrant.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
Prep garlic and ginger in advance for quicker cooking. Consider using ground chicken or tofu as substitutes. For added spice, use red pepper flakes.
