Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle. Cut into equal-sized squares (about 4×4 inches).
- Place a generous spoonful of the beef filling in the center of each square, then fold the corners over to seal the filling inside.
- Arrange the rollups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt. Brush this garlic butter mixture over each rollup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make-ahead: You can prepare the beef filling a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Assemble the rollups just before baking.
- Storage: Store leftover rollups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
- Substitutions: Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option. For a vegetarian version, substitute the beef with sautéed mushrooms and spinach.
