Description
Tender and juicy meatballs, slow-cooked in marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything until just combined—be careful not to overmix.
- Form meatballs: Gently roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, placing each one aside as you go. Aim for uniform size for even cooking.
- Place in Crockpot: Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in your Crockpot. Make sure they’re snug, but not overcrowded.
- Pour marinara sauce: Carefully pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they’re all well-coated.
- Cook: Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve: Once cooked, serve your meatballs warm with spaghetti, in a sub, or as appetizers.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prepare the meat mixture the night before. You can also air fry or roast meatballs for a different texture.
