- 1 package frozen ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Drain any excess fat from the meat.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Create the first layer: half of the frozen ravioli, followed by half of the browned meat mixture, half of the ricotta cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients, layering evenly.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top, adding grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
