Description

A creamy, cheesy delight with layers of ravioli, ground meat, and marinara sauce, perfect for a heartwarming meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the meat.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Create the first layer: half of the frozen ravioli, followed by half of the browned meat mixture, half of the ricotta cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat with the remaining ingredients, layering evenly.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top, adding grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare layers the night before and refrigerate. Adjust cooking time if needed when doubling the recipe.
