- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, garlic, milk, ketchup, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze.
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, basting with the remaining glaze halfway through.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes and green beans.
