- 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 2 cups crushed Doritos
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water as directed, letting it simmer for flavor.
- Combine hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cooked beef, and half of the cheese in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with crushed Doritos and remaining cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving to let the flavors settle.
Notes
Make-ahead by preparing a day in advance. Store leftovers in the fridge or freeze for longer storage. Reheat for the best results.
