Description

A comforting and creamy casserole made with crispy hashbrowns, seasoned ground beef, and topped with crunchy Doritos.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and water as directed, letting it simmer for flavor.
  4. Combine hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cooked beef, and half of the cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with crushed Doritos and remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving to let the flavors settle.
