Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers
- Cooked chicken, shredded
- Cream cheese
- Green onions, chopped
- Soy sauce
- Sweet chili sauce
- Oil for frying
- Lettuce, shredded
- Tomato, diced
- Cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, and sweet chili sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a flat surface.
- Spoon about one tablespoon of the chicken mixture into each wonton wrapper.
- Fold the wrappers to form tacos, sealing the edges with water if necessary.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry the tacos in batches until golden-brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the tacos with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to a day before assembling the tacos.
