A warm and comforting blend of vanilla and cinnamon in creamy milk tea that soothes the senses.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks or 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Vanilla Beans, split and scraped or 4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 Star Anises (optional)
- 4 teaspoons Loose-leaf Black Tea or 4 Black Tea Bags
- Honey or Other Sweetener of Choice, to taste
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
- Add the cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, then cover and let steep.
- Steep for about 10 minutes, adding black tea bags if using.
- Heat the milk in a separate pot until warm.
- Strain the infusion into the warm milk.
- Sweeten to taste with honey or your preferred sweetener.
- Serve hot or cool for an iced version.
