Description

A warm and comforting blend of vanilla and cinnamon in creamy milk tea that soothes the senses.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 4 Cinnamon Sticks or 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 4 Vanilla Beans, split and scraped or 4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Star Anises (optional)
  • 4 teaspoons Loose-leaf Black Tea or 4 Black Tea Bags
  • Honey or Other Sweetener of Choice, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add the cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, then cover and let steep.
  3. Steep for about 10 minutes, adding black tea bags if using.
  4. Heat the milk in a separate pot until warm.
  5. Strain the infusion into the warm milk.
  6. Sweeten to taste with honey or your preferred sweetener.
  7. Serve hot or cool for an iced version.
