- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic, ginger, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables soften, approximately 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour this sauce over the sautéed chicken and vegetables.
- Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add lime juice, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve with steamed rice.
