Thai Basil Beef Rolls are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender beef with aromatic Thai basil, wrapped in rice paper for a fresh and healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 810 rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef, soy sauce, and fish sauce, cooking until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves until wilted.
  4. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, then lay them flat on a clean surface.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on the wrapper, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

  • Make sure not to over-soak the rice paper wrappers to prevent tearing.
