Description

Delicious teriyaki meatball rice bowls that are easy to make and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, steam the broccoli until tender.
  6. Serve the meatballs over cooked rice, topped with steamed broccoli and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
  • For a spicier kick, add some sriracha to the teriyaki sauce.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
