Description

A delicious appetizer featuring whipped feta cheese with a sweet and spicy twist, served on crispy crostini and drizzled with hot honey.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 12 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Hot honey for drizzling
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, and red pepper flakes. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. Spread the whipped feta mixture generously on each crostini.
  6. Drizzle hot honey over the whipped feta.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
