- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 sweet bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the sliced sweet peppers and cook until they are tender.
- Add the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sausage and pepper mixture; stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese.
