Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet corn, flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, milk, egg, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, slightly flattening them.
  4. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and repeat.
  5. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
