Description

Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20) – 1 lb
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • American cheese – 4 slices
  • Burger buns – 4
  • Lettuce – 4 leaves
  • Tomato – 1, sliced
  • Onion – 1, sliced
  • Pickles – to taste
  • Ketchup – to taste
  • Mustard – to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form loose balls.
  3. Place the beef balls on the hot grill and smash them down with a spatula to form thin patties.
  4. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then flip the patties.
  6. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cook for an additional minute until melted.
  7. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.
