A delicious and flavorful meatball recipe that combines the smoky taste of bacon, the sweetness of bourbon BBQ sauce, and the classic flavors of a cheeseburger.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, bourbon BBQ sauce, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, top each meatball with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven until melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the meat mixture in the refrigerator for a few hours before baking.
- Serve with additional bourbon BBQ sauce on the side.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
