Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  7. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  8. Return the scallops to the skillet and coat them in the sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
