- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded toasted coconut
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the pie crust by fitting it into the pie dish.
- Melt the caramel candies and heavy cream together in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add the toasted coconut, stirring to coat.
- Fill the pie crust with the caramel-coconut mixture.
- Create the chocolate layer by melting butter and chocolate chips together, then mixing in sugar, vanilla, and egg.
- Top your pie with the chocolate mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
