- 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, dill, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with additional lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These patties can be baked in the oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
- Leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
