Description
A delicious and flavorful lasagna made with layers of rosemary-infused chicken, cheese, and pasta.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, egg, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the chicken mixture on top of the noodles.
- Sprinkle with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layers, starting with marinara sauce, noodles, chicken mixture, and cheeses.
- Finish with a final layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with sautéed vegetables.
- Can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Garnish with additional rosemary before serving for extra flavor.
