Roasted Garlic Cauliflower Mash for a Creamy Delight!

Description

A creamy and flavorful alternative to traditional mashed potatoes, made with roasted garlic and cauliflower.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 whole bulb of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap the whole bulb of garlic in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until soft.
  3. Meanwhile, steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Once the garlic is roasted, squeeze the cloves out of their skins into a mixing bowl.
  5. Add the steamed cauliflower, olive oil, milk, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  6. Use a potato masher or blender to mash until smooth and creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, use a dairy-free milk alternative.
  • Feel free to add herbs or spices for extra flavor.
