- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley to the marinade.
- Serve with a side of rice or salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
