- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl: flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Prepare wet ingredients in another bowl: whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a slightly sticky dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add melted butter over the dough surface.
- Create the filling by mixing cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly to form a log and slice into rolls, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
- Combine caramel sauce and chopped pecans in the greased baking dish.
- Arrange the sliced rolls over the caramel mixture in the dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
