Description

Delicious cinnamon rolls infused with pecan pie flavors, topped with a rich caramel sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl: flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients in another bowl: whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Add melted butter over the dough surface.
  7. Create the filling by mixing cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly to form a log and slice into rolls, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
  9. Combine caramel sauce and chopped pecans in the greased baking dish.
  10. Arrange the sliced rolls over the caramel mixture in the dish.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
