- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, milk, orange zest, and orange juice. Whisk until smooth.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just mixed.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cooling: Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
