Ingredients

  • 1 package of Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs are formed.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the peppermint extract and mix thoroughly.
  4. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Set the truffles in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to harden the coating.
