- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs are formed.
- Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the peppermint extract and mix thoroughly.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
- Set the truffles in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to harden the coating.
