Description

Mini Apple Pies are delightful bite-sized desserts filled with sweet, spiced apples and encased in a flaky crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 package of pre-made pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into small circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the crust over and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with butter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple mixture.
  • These pies can be served warm or at room temperature.
