Ingredients

- 1 pound of mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and place them in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the marinade over the mushrooms and toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated mushrooms onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add bell peppers or onions to the skewers.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- These skewers can be served as an appetizer or a side dish.
