Description
A delightful fusion of mac and cheese, bacon, and a juicy burger enveloped in a crispy tortilla roll.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked crispy bacon, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes, then drain excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, ketchup, and mustard. Stir until well combined.
- Once the beef is ready, add it to the macaroni mixture and mix well.
- Lay out flour tortillas on a clean surface and place a portion of the filling on one edge. Roll tightly like a burrito, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Brush each roll with melted butter, then cook seam-side down in the skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Alternatively, air fry at 375°F for a few minutes.
- Slice the rolls into bite-sized pieces and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Make ahead by preparing the filling the night before. For a healthier variation, try air-frying or baking.
