Ingredients

- 1 cup limoncello
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine 2 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Stir in 1 cup of limoncello and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Pour the liquid into a shallow container and place it in the freezer for about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve chilled.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute limoncello with extra lemon juice or lemonade. Stirring frequently during freezing helps achieve a creamy texture.
