Description

A refreshing and tangy Lemon Sorbet that sparkles like sunshine, perfect for warm days and a delightful palate cleanser.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup limoncello
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of limoncello and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Pour the liquid into a shallow container and place it in the freezer for about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve chilled.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute limoncello with extra lemon juice or lemonade. Stirring frequently during freezing helps achieve a creamy texture.
