Korean Marinated Eggs Mayak are deliciously seasoned eggs that are marinated in a flavorful soy sauce mixture, making them a perfect snack or side dish.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Boil the eggs for about 7-8 minutes until hard-boiled.
- Cool the eggs in ice water and peel them carefully.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, water, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
- Place the peeled eggs in a container and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- These eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Serve as a side dish or snack with rice or noodles.
