Description

Delicious low-carb rolls filled with savory beef, melted cheese, and sautéed vegetables, perfect for a satisfying meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Low-carb wraps or mozzarella cheese slices (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Sauté the sliced onions and peppers for about 5–6 minutes until they soften and turn golden.
  3. Cook the sliced beef in the same skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce if using, until browned.
  4. Combine the sautéed onions and peppers back with the beef, then sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mixture to melt slightly.
  5. Prepare your low-carb wraps or mozzarella slices and spoon a portion of the mixture onto each.
  6. Roll each wrap tightly around the filling.
  7. Optional: Place rolls on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes until golden.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite sugar-free dipping sauce.

Notes

Taste as you go to adjust seasonings to your liking. You can also prepare the filling ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
