- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Low-carb wraps or mozzarella cheese slices (for rolling)
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Sauté the sliced onions and peppers for about 5–6 minutes until they soften and turn golden.
- Cook the sliced beef in the same skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce if using, until browned.
- Combine the sautéed onions and peppers back with the beef, then sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mixture to melt slightly.
- Prepare your low-carb wraps or mozzarella slices and spoon a portion of the mixture onto each.
- Roll each wrap tightly around the filling.
- Optional: Place rolls on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm with your favorite sugar-free dipping sauce.
Notes
Taste as you go to adjust seasonings to your liking. You can also prepare the filling ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
