- 1 package of mini sausages
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 3–4 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Take a piece of crescent roll dough and place a small scoop of the cheese mixture and a slice of jalapeño on top.
- Add a mini sausage on top of the cheese and jalapeño, then roll the dough around them tightly, sealing the edges well.
- Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until they turn beautifully golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Consider using turkey or chicken sausages for a lighter version. These poppers can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
