Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 12 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese

  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough towards the point, enclosing the filling, and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling a day in advance and chill it in the fridge. Assemble the rolls right before baking for freshness.
