Ingredients

  • 350g Water (lukewarm)
  • 100g Sourdough Starter
  • 10g Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough: In a large bowl, combine the bread flour and warm water. Stir until fully mixed and let the mixture rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the sourdough starter and salt to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead this dough for about 10 minutes, transforming it from rough to smooth.
  4. Place your dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise at room temperature until it doubles in size (around 4-6 hours).
  5. Gently deflate the dough and shape it into a log. Place it in your greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 1-2 hours.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
