Description
A delightful blend of melted cheese, savory Canadian bacon, and sweet pineapple, all perfectly grilled between slices of crispy sourdough bread.

- 4 slices sourdough or white bread
- Butter (for spreading on bread)
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 4 slices Canadian bacon
- 4 pineapple rings (canned or fresh, patted dry)
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
Instructions
- Begin by buttering one side of each slice of bread.
- Preheat your griddle or skillet over medium heat.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, into the hot griddle.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the unbuttered side.
- Layer two slices of Canadian bacon, followed by two pineapple rings, and two slices of cheese on top of the sauce.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook for about 3–4 minutes until the bottom bread turns golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Remove from the pan, let it cool slightly, then cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle garlic powder in the butter before spreading. You can also add fresh herbs as a garnish.
