- 2 pita breads
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create double pockets.
- Stuff the lamb mixture evenly into each pita pocket.
- Preheat your grill over medium heat and brush the grill grates with olive oil.
- Grill the stuffed pitas for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the grill and allow to cool slightly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
