- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Layer each chicken breast with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Roll each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Set up a breading station: flour in one dish, eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in the last.
- Dredge each roll in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the chicken rolls for about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
