Description

A delicious and savory dish combining tender steak, succulent shrimp, and pasta, all tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Slice the steak into strips and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute the steak with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
  • This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
