Description
A delicious and savory dish combining tender steak, succulent shrimp, and pasta, all tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Slice the steak into strips and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute the steak with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
